Bite-sized Bits

Professional History

The Beginning: My graphic design training began in high school in the 90's - when Adobe software was young and so was I. At 16, as a budding illustrator, my first job was for a locally managed national hotel chain.

Formal Education: I earned a Bachelor's Degree in the Art Institute of Colorado's inaugural Media Arts and Animation program. Connecting with that network of artists mastering a variety of skillsets and interests illuminated the power and pleasure of collaboration, spurring me to pursue and procure our first animation client in 2001: Red Rocks Film on the Rocks for the City of Denver.

The rest is history - leading to a future of evolving alongside advances in digital technology, the dawn and dominance of social platforms, the rise of video-capable internet - and the unwavering, if not fortified, virtue of storytelling.

Testimonials

Damn, I am surprised that the PDF's aren't smoking, you are amazing, you called me at 3:39 and you sent both back at 4:31. You are the best person on those programs that I have ever worked with and I am getting old so I have worked with quite a few! And the icing on the cake is that you have a Designer's eye, the stuff you put together looks just like it should.

Decades of Clients Becoming Friends

I feel that a great measure of my success over the years is how many client relationships have grown into friendships. There’s a testimony in earning repeat and referral business for twenty-five years. Then, with those same folks, enjoying Colorado’s concerts, mountains, breweries, BBQs, life and family milestones, and more fun with human connections.

There’s usually room for more creative work, and always room for more friendships along the way*.
